Just a status update. I did it again and now fwbackups loads at login, but nothing else does. I have to quit fwbackups for the desktop to load. I'll keep poking around

I poked around a bit and I think you were referring to /home/username/.bash_profile . I added fwbackups to the end of this file and restarted. It looks like it tried to work as I could see fwbackups loading when I restarted, but then I just hung on the desktop. I let it go for about 10 mins With onl...

Updating Fedora Fails

Just a heads up for the new guys. I've been struggling trying to update Fedora since I installed my server today. Turns out you have to log in as someone other than root to gain access to updates. I also had to uncheck the ruby updater because it kept failing

I think fwbackups is a great solution to this much needed problem. I've installed it and am having trouble getting to to run at login. I've tried adding it in the System > Personal > sessions > startup programs menu, as well ass adding it to rc.local, but when I login as root, it won't autostart. I ...
