I'll confess that I haven't yet - I'm currently investigating if it's appropriate/feasible to make a one-click app out of it. If it's either tricky or is going to take a long time, I'll update the wiki as an interim step.

Re: Announcing: Amahi Netboot pre-release
Hi evylrat, I've been out of the country for the last month or two, so I'm just catching up on things. First, thanks for posting the info on getting the amahi logo up on the menu; it works for me nicely and is quite pretty. Re your question; the script examples I put up on the wiki use an "exec...

Re: Announcing: Amahi Netboot pre-release
Ok, I've written it up in the wiki at: http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Browse_and_Netboot_ISO_images It's a while since I first set this up, so drop me a line if it doesn't work and we'll work out which steps I've forgotten. By exchange, I'd love to hear how you got an Amahi wallpaper on your PXE me...

Re: Announcing: Amahi Netboot pre-release
All, I've been playing with amahi-netboot for a little while now. I don't know whether my use-case is particularly common or not, but I tend to download ISOs for new releases when they come out and like to test drive them with minimal effort. I've come up with a couple of scripts that: 1. Use automo...
Fedora 14
Ok, so it's out... Torrents are streaming in... What can we do to test Amahi on F14? Is it worth trying an install using the F12 repo or will that not work? Is there an alpha version we can have a go with?

Re: Ready for testing: CrashPlan
I am a beta tester for Crashplan and it is working just fine, Crashplan that is. The hda is backing the contents of the hard drives in the server to another remote server of mine just like it should. However, in the hda settings page which can be found at Apps>Servers>Crashplan, it shows that the C...

Re: Clonezilla
I preface this post with the observation that pretty much any of these solution work for my use case, but might not work for others. In particular, partition images from Windows machines may have all sorts of interesting information contained in cookies and webcaches and the like. I don't care much ...

Re: Clonezilla
That is great. What I found is if you leave off -o password=xxxx it will prompt for password. Cannot leave of user as I tried and it bombs. So need to find a way to capture the Amahi first user. Then can insert it on install. I tried to use root, but would not work as it must not have access to sam...

Re: Clonezilla
Update: I followed your options, but left off the -o password and it will prompt during boot for it. I would presume user name is the same. That will allow users to do the backup and only have to enter their user name and password for it to work. Awesome.....I can change clonezilla app and add the ...

Re: Clonezilla
Awesome. I have been doing a little reading and see how I can make some things easier. I still need to play with it a bit more. The key here is to make it usable by anyone on any platform. So have to be careful what options get hard coded, i.e. language would not be a good one. If we set it to Engl...
