Re: Transmission: "Error: permission denied ..."
If you wanna change the owner of files, do the following in terminal as root user: chown -R apache:users /path/to/dir TO change the read/write permissions, do the following in terminal as root user: chmod -R 775 /path/to/dir Hope that helps. There may also be some info in the Amahi Wiki. http://wiki...

Re: Amahi on Virtualbox
I would say that is all you want is a NAS, Amahi may not be the best fit. Mostly because it needs to be the sole provider in the network as a home server. You might consider FreeNAS if that is all you desire. Amahi is an awesome home server and can do so much more if you can dedicate a machine to it...

Re: help with e-mule
There may be some users who can assist, but this is one of those trial and error situations.
I would imagine it could work fine with Amahi, but without trying it there is no guarantee.

I would not worry about it. What it means is does your ISP mark these types of emails as SPAM or not deliver them to your mail box.

Re: Network error: could not connect to server webvnc.*.com:
Have you checked the wiki regarding VNC?
http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/VNC
The solutions there might work better than WebVNC.

Re: Transmission: "Error: permission denied ..."
You need to verify the permissions on the folder that the file is being downloaded into and post them.
Also, did you check the wiki or search here for a potential solution? I have heard this one before, but do not recall the solution.

This is not an Amahi question. This is specific to Fedora and you should consider checking their web site or forums for hardware support.

Re: cannot connect an external USB drive
You are probably missing the drivers for NTFS. They are not installed by default in Fedora.
See the wiki page on adding a second hard drive as it will indicate the what dependencies are needed.

Re: Move to New Drive From LVM
Add the new drive and copy the files to it. Then remove the 3 that are no longer needed. Once you do that, you should be able to remove them by editing /etc/fstab and deleting the lines for those drives.
You might consider using the Fedora Desktop tools to remove them.

Re: Using the Network Troubleshooter, I failed step 9
Did you turn off the DHCP and/or DNS server for your router? Also, did you renew the DHCP lease for the clients. This is necessary to ensure Amahi provides the DHCP lease to clients after install.
