What errors were you having when using UDP?
Could it be that the network you are on when trying to VPN to your HDA uses the same IP range as the HDA?

Re: Linux Scanner Server
I had some time available so I played with scanner server again and finally got it working. I ended up having to follow ceayuso's step of adding to fstab. Then the scanner showed up in the app but wouldn't scan. It's a CanoScan so like ho0k3r I changed the name to just Canon and all is working corre...

icalendar blank
I'm trying to get iCalendar installed but when I go to http://icalendar.domainname.com I end up at http://icalendar/week.php and the page is completely blank. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but get the same result. I can get to http://icalendar/preferences.php but that's it. Not sure where...

There are folders for music, photos, etc. From...

Re: Can't view Shares from Ubuntu file browser...
On my Ubuntu machines the Windows Network does show up under Network and from there I can see the HDA so I'm not sure why you can't see it. One option is to install Smb4K. It has a nice GUI interface for mounting samba shares.

Re: Linux Scanner Server
I've been trying to get this working as well but keep getting the same error messages that ho0k3r posted. I've tried running the install script as well as going through the manual steps on the wiki page but no success. The scanners.conf file stays empty. The scanner is a Canoscan LDie30 and it does ...
Re: Keepass
System was already up to date. What about opening the port through my router for a limited time so someone (BK or Bigfoot) who has a known working client could try to access my install? That could at least point us to a client issue or a server issue (although I'm fairly certain the problem is serve...
Re: Keepass
I don't believe Ubuntu updates will bring FF to 3.5 so I did it manually. Unfortunately running FF 3.5.2 had no effect on the problem.
