Amahi updates happen automatically. Also, major security updates also happen automatically. Fedora updates are not done automatically by default, for stability reasons. You can do Fedora updates by using the tools that come up on the screen, or you can update by hand via the command line, with yum u...

do you have cookies turned on?
if not, there was a related issue with saving the settings for begin and end of the calendar time, however, that was fixed.

i don't know ubuntu well. in my fedora 10 client, it gives me the option to configure the VPN connection, however ubuntu may be different.

we have not released the Fedora 10 version of Amahi.
there are some development notes on Fedora 10 port of Amahi, which essentially says it will not quite fully work.
