I am not sure what you are trying to accomplish with this.

Re: Amahi 5.0 release candidate 1 ready!

Are the problems large or small? I can live with a few bugs, and I'd quite like to help. I just read http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Fedora_12 and get what is basically working and what isn't. Luckily, the apps I use seem to be on the working list so far (apart from PBA, but I can see if I can help...

Re: Amahi 5.0 release candidate 1 ready!

@philtrick I would not advise upgrading just yet, let us iron out the small bugs still and release a stable version of the platform then we can upgrade. There are still some problems, but this means we are getting closer and closer to a release.

Re: Administrator login?

As of right now, each application is configured with a user/pw that is created upon install. We are working (or will be working) on a way to automatically implement users that are currently created with apps and the way to add those users to those apps when created after. Or atleast thats the way I ...

Re: Administrator login?

There is currently no admin login for the HDA dashboard, but that is being worked on as we type :). As to the apps, on how to use them you can search online or find information in the special instructions after the app is installed. Just click Applications -> Installed (subtab) and click on the app ...

Re: hda.com

One thing I would like to add to this, and noticed that you turned off your server at night. If you turn off your server, and DHCP on the router is OFF, you will not be able to reach the internet as there is nothing in place to give out a DHCP lease IP address to you. The router is turned off so it ...

Re: Installed but....

Ahh ok, there is the problem. I had this same problem once before and it seems that the lease time table did not get put into the database. This is something that cpg will have to field as I am not sure what I did before :). I will get with him and see what command we need you to run to fix this pro...

Re: MediaWiki Password not working

Yes, in a database table the password is encrypted, all passwords are done that way for security reasons. The only thing I could think would be to install by hand, for now. I never did get to it last night (I forget wayy to often :( ) but im going to try tonight. I will see who the app packager is a...

Re: Installed but....

OK it looks you have found the page, to set the seconds click on the number that is there and change it, then click elsewhere on the page to enable that change (unless there is an ok button or something of that sort).

If there are no numbers there, then that is the problem.
