Re: Upgrade ownCloud 8.2.1 to Nextcloud 9.0.51
That is very informative and helpful, thank you. I certainly had a sense that you had a history and depth of experience with ownCloud/Nextcloud and saw that you were chasing down the upgrade issue affecting many Amahi users. Great stuff. I happen to be on a path that allows me to go straight to the ...

Re: Upgrade ownCloud 8.2.1 to Nextcloud 9.0.51
This is interesting stuff. I have recently been planning to get back to giving my Amahi instance some attention (starting with an upgrade from Amahi 8 to 9!). One of the first things I planned to do was revisit installing ownCloud -- I had abandoned it initially after having trouble reconciling it's...

Re: UPS support in Amahi 8 / Fedora 21?

If/when I give it a try I'll report back (and update the guide, if applicable).
Thanks.

Re: UPS support in Amahi 8 / Fedora 21?
This is something that interests me, as well. I took a look at the guide (minding the "update needed" disclaimer), which suggests apcupsd or nut... I use apcupsd on Linux for mine. Did you try nut? Just wondering whether your selection was based on experience... and how relevant the guide ...

Y... Quite alarmist. ... less worrying. ... smaller attack surface. Yes, agreed 100% on all fronts. I felt it probably wasn't a significant risk. Mainly wondered whether there might be something included in the next release of Amahi to address the issue. I expect Fedora will be patched. Having Amah...

Re: Password issue: sync between Amahi dashboard, samba, and android app??
Great idea. I'll do that. Sorry,... OT, but... I'm assuming I login to the bug tracker using the same creds as the wiki? How do I troubleshoot this? Re: Password issue: sync between Amahi dashboard, samba, and android app??
This may be related to 1925 Interesting, yes. Is there a workaround? Change password again? Ensure password... conforms to a certain length? Also run this command and see if it reports correctly the first admin user: cd /var/hda/platform/html/script ./first-admin Also have you tried restarting Samb...

Password issue: sync between Amahi dashboard, samba, and android app??
Hello, Background: - initially setup the Amahi admin user with password1 - via the Amahi dashboard Users tab, changed that user's password to password2 - was unable to access Samba shares, so tried the instructions on the Reset Amahi Password wiki page -- no change Note: I have avoided using the OS ...
