Ah, thanks for the tip.
It seems I had something wrong with the router and amahi DHCP settings. as soon as I changed the settings and restarted the router I was able to access owncloud.
not sure what has changed, because I did not have any issues access HDA before.

Followed this wiki OwnCloud on Amahi everything worked fine up until where it says "reboot the server". it then asks to test owncloud, but I cannot get to that page. tried multiple browsers & PCs but no joy. Owncloud never worked I've got OpenVPN & Amahi Anywhere installed and work...
