Re: Request: possible to get PS3 Media Server included?
Hello, I am not sure if you are aware, but we do not support Fedora 11. Only Fedora 10 and 12. All new application development will most likely be geared towards Fedora 12. So if you are not on Fedora 12, I encourage you to upgrade. There is a lot of new functionality with Amahi 5.0 that you will no...

Re: How to backup SERVER/AMAHI itself? (policy?)
For those concerned about backing up there app data, there is a good solution. Install phpMyBackupPro. It will generate sql text files which you can email yourself or save to another machine. Then once you upgrade or reinstall amahi, install the app, phpMyBackupPro and copy the sql text files back. ...

Re: IP conflicts with Amahi's DHCP
I have the same problem. I agree with cpg, we should not allow static IP addresses in the range of 100-254 which is reserved fro dhcp.
I have adjusted my static IPs accordingly, so now all machines are <100 and only those which use DHCP will be the 100-254. Seems like a simple plan to follow.

Re: MediaWiki Password not working
Hello,
I cracked the code and found the login info. User name is WikiSysop and password is admin.
We will add it to the special instructions for the app shortly. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Tested the new platform and it works awesome. Prompted me to change my password on login. All is well so far.

Re: WikkiWiki not working
It is working for me. Try uninstalling it, then reinstall it again and see if that works. If not, please try check /var/log/amahi-app-installer.log for details and post them here.

Re: Administrator login?
Hello, The amahi users are currently separate from application users. So, each app that requires login will need users created via the admin login. This info is typically found in special instructions after you complete the app install. As for manuals for applications, you can go to the app web site...

Re: Creating a new user and database in mysql
Hello, Each app has it's own procedure for adding new users. The amahi users are not part of the applications. The admin login will provide you access to that apps user management function. The user information is stored in a separate database for each one, so I would not recommend doing it via mysq...

Re: The Official Roadmap Draft for Amahi 5 and later versions..
I installed F12 today and used the new amahi installer. Everything went perfect. I decided to do F12 updates after amahi was installed. Seems to work better that way. The new installer is sweet and shows the install progress in FireFox as it's working. If you have not tried it yet, you need to. Awes...

Re: Adito Security Help
Hello, I believe you can modify the settings to restrict what IP addresses it can be accessed from. It's a little outdated, but you could look in the administrator guide for answers. Keep in mind this guide is for the SSL Explorer of which Adito is a fork. You can find a link in the Amahi wiki http:...
