VPN on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich)
I can report that the IPSec VPN works great with Android 4.0 out of the box, provided you are connected over Wifi -there seems to be a bug in Android which causes it to reboot the phone when connected over a 3G connection. This has been logged with Google. I will attempt to post some screenshots on ...

Re: How to setup Fixed IP Win machines and still resolve DNS
Try the following if you want the clients to remain with static IP addresses: In the Internet Protocol Version 4 properties, click Advanced button Select the DNS tab at the top In the box near the bottom where it says "DNS suffix for this connection" enter home.com Click OK until you have ...

Tapatalk Integration
Hi I was wondering if there is any chance of getting Tapatalk integration enabled for these forums? It was mentioned in an old post here . Would be great to have access to the forums from my mobile, since I've got access to the HDA from it! If you need me to send an email as per the old post above, ...

Re: Change DHCP settings on the HDA
jonathankonrad, I think you did everything right, except you have used the IP Address of the HDA for the secondary DNS!! Hence your clients are still getting the HDA address twice! Edit the /etc/hdactl.conf file you created and put in the IP Address of the secondary DNS server in place of the 192.16...

Re: open VPN. Android. HDA Conect
I had some similar issues on my phone, It would accept my username/password and say it was connected but the phone didn't actually have an IP Address or routing information. The issue seems to have been the busybox installation on the phone. The OpenVpn 2.1.1 client is looking for the 'ifconfig' com...

Thanks for the replies...purchased installed and working
I've tried the remote client, which is also great. I also got the Torrent-Fu app for Android and now have that working over VPN as well

Re: HP Microserver as Amahi host
Hi,
I'm running the HP Microserver with Amahi installed natively, just checked and according to Windows 7 I'm getting about 10.5MB/s uploading a file over Samba.
My devices are connected at 100Mb/s in the same 3Com switch.
Hope that helps!

Transmission Headless
Hi
My HDA is running Amahi 6.1 Express headless, if I install the Transmission App from the store will it automatically configure the web interface and be able to run using the web interface only?
Couldn't find an answer by search sorry...
Thanks

Re: MKV Conversion App
Thanks for the reply - I'm looking to get Transmission set up next, it looks like there are instructions on setting up a cron job for that in the Wiki so once i've completed that I should be able to automate the script in the same way.
