I'm a little confused about your problem(s).
Did you do a fresh install of 6.1 or did you upgrade?
Are you having dns issues? If so, have you tried the network troubleshooter? Post your results.
A clean install might be the easiest way to solve your problems.

Re: home.com
Try and find the exact model number of your router and do a Google search for the model and 'dns disable'. There must be a way to turn it off.

Re: Trouble with pinging
If you are running Amahi in a virtual machine, is its network interface configured as Bridged or NAT?
For Virtualbox, you definitely need it to be bridged (I'm not sure about other VM's).

Re: Partition volume on install....can I change it?
It's better to customize the partition layout during the initial install. If you are an adept Linux user, you can boot into a live-CD and modify the partition layouts, but if you are new to Linux, I would recommend re-installing and choose custom disk partitioning. Check around on the forum, there h...

Re: Something's Missing?
Well if you set up your raid post-installation, perhaps you are remembering a different drive configuration. Your screen looks fine. Go to your hda Setup/storage page. It should show your 'two' drives (one os drive and the combined raid1 array as a single drive). I have a similar installation on my ...

Re: Issue launching perl script after uTorrent dl completes
I'm not familiar with uTorrent, but often apps like that run with permissions of a different user and/or group id. If uTorrent were running as a different user, that could explain the problem you are having. That user might not have the permissions you do and so the script would fail. Try to find ou...

Re: Issue launching perl script after uTorrent dl completes
What happens when you run your script as root?
i.e: sudo perl /home/user/Desktop/Scripts/myscript.pl
Does that work?

Re: "Idiot Check" - Drive Configuration
Assuming you aren't putting /home in the greyhole pool (which would not be a good idea, I think), you can tell the system to put /home in a partition on any drive. It has been a while since I installed Fedora, so I don't remember the details of installation. But, you should be able to select custom ...
