Re: How to remove a disk

OK, so I just found this on the wiki: CAUTION: If you mount a drive and at some point remove it, ensure you remove the appropriate entry from the /etc/fstab. If you don't, your HDA will boot into Emergency Mode and be inoperable. I will remove the line that refers to the 3TB disk, then shut down and...

SOLVED: How to remove a disk

Hi, I have a problem with my HDA and would be grateful for help. I have two hard drives in it, and want to replace one of them (/dev/sdb). So, what I have done: There was one share pointing to sdb, so I deleted that share, shut down the HDA, took out the 3TB disk, sdb, and then replaced it with a 16...

Forum settings

Hi,

Is there a way to change the appearance of this forum?
I find it difficult to read. For me there is insufficient contrast between the grey text and the white background, and it's the same for the white text on the blue background.

Thanks
Steve

Hi Bigfoot, The contents of /etc/cron.weekly/greyhole: #!/bin/sh # Weekly fsck if [ -f /usr/share/greyhole/gh-disk-usage.log ]; then rm /usr/share/greyhole/gh-disk-usage.log; fi /usr/bin/greyhole --fsck --email-report --dont-walk-metadata-store --disk-usage-report > /dev/null # This calls home to re...

Re: Greyhole Disk Utilisation App problem

Hi Bigfoot, Here's your apaste url: https://da.gd/72oQ Here are the log entries from the amahi-app-installer log which relate to the Utilization app: ======= app install begin @ 2017-06-12 12:02:54 +0100 ========== Installing app id ptgxru62zo under /var/hda/platform/html/script/.. SOLVED: Greyhole Disk Utilisation App problem

Technically I'm probably in the wrong forum since this is an App problem. Greyhole appears to be working fine. I intalled the Greyhole Disk Utilization app and it's not working. When I click on the app link from the homepage of my HDA (v10) I se a blank page with "SQL Error:" At the same t...

Re: I can't see my data

Hi, So I shut my new server down, took the drive out and put it back into my old server and booted that up. It WAS ext4, not ntfs or anything else, and it turns out that the problem was the share name. In my old server it had been shared out of location: /var/hda/files/drives/drive1/wsse1copy On the...

Re: I can't see my data

OK, so I rebooted, and the drives seemed to be mounted this time. Here's the output. I unmounted it and then ran df -Th, but it didn't show me what filesystem it was. [steve@localhost ~]$ df -Th Filesystem Type Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on devtmpfs devtmpfs 968M 0 968M 0% /dev tmpfs tmpfs 976M 0 ...

Re: I can't see my data

Hi, I don't think it's mounted. When I do umount /dev/sde or /dev/sde1 it tells me it's not mounted. Here's the output from your command: [steve@localhost ~]$ sudo df -Th [sudo] password for steve: Filesystem Type Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on devtmpfs devtmpfs 968M 0 968M 0% /dev tmpfs tmpfs 976M...
