Re: Amazon Fire Stick or Fire TV Cube for Plex?

I have used the Amazon Fire Stick and Roku Express. I do say I prefer the ROku Express. It works seamlessly with my TVs and cable TV provider. WIth Roku Express, there is an app for my Cable provider so I don't need a cable box. I feel the Amazon Fire Stick is too limiting and I get more with Roku E...

Re: Does it work on an Ubuntu VM?

It is old, but should work.

Most of our tutorials in the wiki are provided by the community users.

Just have to adjust it to Amahi 11 vs Amahi 7 when installing.

We only officially support install on a system vs VM, but it should work.

Re: DOES NOT START THE APPLICATIONS

You may need to restart your network to clear out any disparities.

Once you can access the HDA dashboard on your system, you should see apps available for install.

Recommend you check out the Troubleshooting page in the wiki as well.

Re: Does it work on an Ubuntu VM?

It should work fine on a VM, but remember it's designed for a real system.

I run an HDA on a VM as a backup to my primary system.

Re: Mount existing drive with data?

Basically you can mount a drive to a specific file location. For example.

/var/hda/files/test could be the mounting point for a hard drive that is added to the /etc/fstab.

Re: Serval Linux installs and I don't know what to do

Best advice I can offer is to use GParted Live on the disk.

It will allow you to remove other OS partitions and repurpose the space for the HDA.

It is working for me now.

Looks like it is fixed.

Thanks for the hard work getting around the infrastructure issues!

Marking as resolved.
