Did you disable DHCP on your router, and allow your amahi server handle all DHCP and DNS?
If you have have you rebooted your PC after that?

I had the same problem until I resolved it. My old network was 10/100MB and I was getting speeds of about 9MB - 11MB/s When I upgrade to gigabit network this is where I learned its a few things you need to get gigbit speeds. I had same issue, and I had to adjust permissions on the folders. CPG gave me the command. I do not have it on hand at the moment.
