SOLVED: Migration Scripts not available

Prior to starting an update from F21 to F23, I was going to backup my HDA settings with the migration script, but this results in a 404 error: [root@hda ~]# wget https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1380867/f21_hda_migration.sh --2016-05-21 19:38:08-- https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1380867/f21_h...

Re: https access to HDA

Personally I see no need for SSL (https) access inside the network. Between the firewall and other client software, access using http is adequate in most cases. Do you have a reason for wanting SSL access to the HDA and apps? This sort of thing is the main reason. With over 40 devices on my network...

Re: ProFTPd - no web interface

Did you do an upgrade from Amahi 7 to 8 or a new install? This was a fresh install. I know that there is a risk with the BETA items, but a lot of the apps I use regularly are Beta ones, so it is worth spending a bit of time getting them working properly. Most have installed without problems, includ...

ProFTPd - no web interface

I have installed proFTPd on Amahi 8. The server is running ok, and I can save files to the ftp folders, but I cannot access the web interface. There are no error messages on the page, but I get a blank browser screen with the proFTPd address in the address bar. I have compared configurations with my...

Re: https access to HDA

It's your HDA, so you accept the risk. Is the risk losing the web access to the HDA, or can it stop it working completely? I don't mind troubleshooting web access, but if it might stop the HDA working, I may have to set up a test machine. It took me hours to get the SSL certificates working on a Ra...

Re: Trouble installing CrashPlan

I did not have any problems with my install of Crashplan, but that was a few hours before the server went down. Zoneminder, however, does not work under Amahi 8 because the version installing from the Amahi sources is not compatible with Fedora 21/ffmpeg. After much messing around, which included in...

Re: https access to HDA

Ok, I might have a play and try not to break it! I had it working in the past, but that might have been Amahi 6. I've just created a CA and created some certificates for other machines on the network, and I am running Dovecot and Postfix on my HDA and was planning to enable tls/ssl connections for t...

Re: Trouble installing CrashPlan

Could you update the Crashplan guidance? I will have a look at it and see what I can add. In relation to the installation failure, it looks like the install script continues after the SHA1 hash check has failed, resulting in other error messages because earlier stages of the install have not comple...

https access to HDA

I notice that the wiki says the following about setting up SSL access to the HDA under Amahi 8: This is untested and not recommended as it may break your HDA. Is there a specific reason why this would be different from under Amahi 7 and would break things? I don't mind doing some non-destructive tes...

Re: Trouble installing CrashPlan

I installed Crashplan last week on Amahi 8, and it is operating OK. The installation can be found in /usr/local/crashplan , and there is /conf/ directory containing the config files. I am using the Crashplan GUI for the configuration, which I am accessing via X11 forwarding with PuTTY on my PC. This...
