Re: Amahi for Android
I found Amahi for Android very confusing when I first used it. You have to log in with the username and password you would normally use to log into the Amahi.org dashboard. You also need to check on your HDA dashboard under the Shares tab that all the shares you want to see have 'Visible' ticked. Yo...

Re: OpenVPN Authorisation Failed
No problem.
I'll see if I can do something over the weekend.

Re: OpenVPN Authorisation Failed
Hi Epedrego, and a Happy New Year too. I spoke to our IT guys, and he suggested connecting my laptop to the internet via a wifi hotspot on my mobile to see if the VPN worked that way, because all the ports are open on a mobile wifi hotspot, so that would prove it it was the port or something else th...

Mapped Shares Keep Losing Access on Windows 10
I have two desktops and three laptops with Windows 10, and one laptop with Windows 7. I have Amahi shares mapped to Windows drive letters on all machines and there are multiple accounts on each machine as each member of the family has their own login on each machine. As a result, the machines are ra...

Re: OpenVPN Authorisation Failed
Unfortunately still not resolved. I can get OpenVPN to connect to my HDA from work no problem, and the A on he task bar turns from red to green. My laptop is running Windows 7 and putting \\hda or \\hda\ into the windows address bar just comes up: "\\hda is not accessible. You might not have pe...

Re: OpenVPN Authorisation Failed
I have tried http://hda/ in Google Chrome. It brings up the HDA dashboard, so at least that is showing that the VPN connection is working, and I can log in to the server dashboard ok. Putting http://hda/ into Windows Explorer simply spawns Google Chrome again and opens the dashboard login. I am not ...

Any Plans to Increase Amahi Sync Capacities?
I have been looking at back-up options for my Amahi server, to back it up to the cloud. I had originally intended using Cloudberry backup, but I have discovered that it's Linux flavour has a maximum backup capacity and then jumps up in price to a more enterprise level package for unlimited backup st...

Re: OpenVPN Authorisation Failed
I have had a look at my Amahi Control Panel, and my Home Domain is Amahi.net I have tried it internally on my home network, and it sometimes resolves, but sometimes it does not - it's not reliable. I have a number of aliases set up on the server printer.amahi.net for example, never resolves, but hda...

Re: OpenVPN Authorisation Failed
I'm sorry but I have looked through the "shares troubleshooting" wiki page, but that appears to relate to connecting to the server when you are inside your home network. My pc is running Windows 7, and I have noticed that although the HDAConnect Icon turns green and the log appears to show...

Re: OpenVPN Authorisation Failed
OK - good news - I've got connected. For some reason, even though I put capital letters in my username when I created it, and I put capital letters in my username when I logon as administrator at home, logging in through HDAConnect only worked when I put my whole username into lowercase letters. Now...
