Re: Server Mobo
The WAN/LAN router part is absolutely not supported nor recommended Roger That! So I'll skip the Dual ethernet... I would worry more about storage redundancy, performance than network. Get a real hardware RAID card with 4 or 6 ports, don't rely on the cheap RAID controller on the mobo There is mobo...

Server Mobo
My current amahi build is pretty great! Unfortunatly It is on a machine originally intended for windows 98...so it's becoming unreliable. I am looking to build a rig from the ground up with server specific parts. My confusion lies in the dual ethernet ports. I 'feel' like the internet should go to e...

Where will I find the Backup?
Also - is there a way to interface with PBA through the terminal?

Re: How do I access PBA?
Didn't Work...
The above commands from the terminal definitely installed 3-5 packages...
However "//pba" still leads me to the phillipine basketball association.
More Ideas? I'll take them

Re: How do I access PBA?
When Trying to access from IE8 This error returns:
Windows cannot find "pba"
Windows sent the request to the DNS and the server responded that the name was unknown.

Re: DNS???
no, not as separate directory /ampache. they are virtual hosts based. if you have a comain you can map A records or C records to it. I don't know what you are talking about here...I'm a noob  also, keep in mind that this will be public ... so it's a potential hazard of intrusion in your networ...

Re: DNS???
OTay... I figured it out... I had the wrong port forwarded to the HDA's ip adddress My confusion was that I thought it needed to be 5900 but it actually needed 80. I have successfully been able to install and access webapps via dyndns: for example: jampache.dyndns.info jamahiwebvnc.dyndns.info I wou...
