Re: New theory

The few times i have tried editing BIND directly on an HDA were less than successful.

I think it was 24-48 hours later, my changes were overwritten.

there are a lot of posts where they are going to the internet for "home.com"

Re: BRTFS

i think the lack of a fsck tool is a kernel issue based on my friend Google's findings....

i suspect they will have it resolved by the time Fedora 17 releases or maybe the next kernel update after....

i just wanted to let peeps know that fsck doesnt happen like with ext4...etc.

the wireless router has dns entries pointing to opendns.com. NOTE: wireless router is configured with a hardcoded ip address given by my ISP. this is the address of my network which appears on opendns.com in my registration there. wireless router DNS entries point to openDNS nameservers - 208.67.22...

Re: DHCPOffer not being accepted

dont worry about it. i certainly dont know everything but i have been working on networks for a couple decades.

i am more than happy to help where i can.

if tou can install wireshark on your workstation and do a capture during the DHCP process, that would probably be helpful as well

Re: PBX

I am a Unified Communications engineer and have some interest in this topic.

I have Asterisk running on one of my "lab" Amahi servers.

A few issues with it but was wondering if there is any activity on any other PBX application
