The disks have gone idle and possibly entered a standby mode, hddtemp should not wake them to check temp therefore the entries will be blank.
Simply accessing the drive then refreshing the monitoring page will populate the values.

Re: Orphaned, empty folders do not get deleted on fsck
I believe Jayrock is referingto greyhole --fsck
Not the e2fs program fsck
Agreed that this should be handled, this has been a hold up with converting some shares to greyhole until I have my structure set in stone.

Re: PS3MediaServer one-click install dependencies
The local gui is java based. I've seen post about running vnc on headless servers to support the gui, whereas i would edit PMS.conf directly. Thanks for the confirmation that the app simply extracts the tarball. After I saw that cpg builds an rpm from the minidlna sources, I was concerned that the s...

PS3MediaServer one-click install dependencies
I've been running through a few mediaservers testing support for my devices, presentation and format support. Amahi/minidlna is great for 95% of my use but on a few occasions I've found Serviio and PSM have been able to serve (without transcoding) files that miniDLNA can't. I've started testing vari...

Re: 1962: No operating system found - old IBM
During installation of the expressCD do you have a network connection? It should be a wired connection and you should be able to ping, say, f14.amahi.org . When the installer enters stage2 (graphical) you should be able to press CTRL-ALT+f2 to select a terminal to test from. While working on the exp...

Re: DLNA Samsung TV - important issues
The current release of miniDLNA, 1.0.21 includes many improvements for samsung, within the last week or so some samsung bookmark related work was dropped into git. I've been playing with the dev code and plan on submitting an update to amahi, but right now I haven't really noticed any improvement wi...

Amahi DLNA metadata...
I'm using AmahiDLNA and having great success with streaming content through Xbox and even have good MKV support through my samsung bd-d5500. The various miniDLNA product have results in documentation being pretty sparse. I have found an indication that it should handle XMBC style nfo files for metad...

Re: Fresh install from express cd fails
Is this the only drive attached to the system during installation? I did notice that during installation anaconda didn't necessarily select the drive you were installing fedora to when installing grub to the MBR.
If any other drives are connected during install disconnect them.

Re: Transfer Speed
Out of interest what kind of throughput have you seen since solving your cable issue. It's important to note that those are limits based on the specifications, and do not represent real world scenarios which include overhead and interaction of all devices involved. Aside from hardware and drivers Sa...
