[SOLVED] Re: slow dashboard
Wrong alarm, my mistake  This was a fresh installation, so the system was performing a huge update in the background. Also vmstat was showing high paging activity, I guess my 768 RAM was not enough. That's why CPU utilization seemed low. All is back to normal now. Thank you very much for your ...

[SOLVED] slow dashboard
Hi everyone, Amahi is great, but its user interface loads REALLY slow. I timed it and here are the results using firefox on a fairly fast wireless network: - 2 minutes for Amahi's login screen (http://hda) to appear - 2 minutes 24 seconds for the main screen to appear (after entering the password) -...

Re: Transmission
Uh... Just saw this one:Is there a way to prioritize the init scripts, to make sure that Transmission daemon is initiated only after the drives are mounted?

Sorry!

Password for Transmission
Hi everyone, I would like to put a password to Transmission. I figured that it is located in: /usr/share/transmission/web So, I tried generating a .htaccess/.htpasswd pair in that directory, hoping that it would ask for a password first. Well... it doesn't. I would appreciate any help a lot. Thanks!

Re: Transmission
It's good to finally have a config file :) That leaves me one last thing to solve... I would like to keep my torrents in an external drive, say '/media/EHD'. When I change the config file to point to '/media/EHD/torrents', transmission can correctly find it and start downloading. However, when I res...

Re: Amahi crashed after Fedora udpate :(
looks ok to me. there is no way you could have gotten fedora 13 without enabling the rawhide repos, methinks. just to make sure, i just updated to the latest myself and all went well. i even got a new kernel and rebooted and everything is ok. Yes, I must have enabled the rawhide repository somehow....

Re: Amahi crashed after Fedora udpate :(
After the fresh install, the Fedora updater is bugging me with a huge list of updates. I am willing to give it a go, but I would not like the same thing to happen again. I grepped for all the repos (attached), looks like rawhide is not enabled. I would really appreciate if you could have a look at t...

Re: Amahi crashed after Fedora udpate :(
I see Fedora 13, not 12 whoa. where exactly do you see that? did you enable the "rawhide" repo? that is the only explanation i can see. grep enabled /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-rawhide.repo I see "Fedora 13" at startup screen, you know, the blue and white (and weird) progress bar. I...

Amahi crashed after Fedora update :(
Hi Everyone, Unfortunately, Amahi crashed after fedora update. Looks like it was a release update, because I see Fedora 13, not 12. I don't even have X11 at the moment. Just a cursor. I have DHCP tough, so I can at least connect to internet. Also http://hda now returns: Ruby on Rails could not be st...

Re: Amahi Mail Server
How about: "Emahil" ? Inherits from Amahi enough to indicate they are from the same family
