Re: SOLVED: Dynamic IP updating no longer working after upda
I need to change my router and with it the subset. Other than Amahi profile showing "stopped" my system should run perfectly, right? So do I understand correctly? I don't have to change anything else with my system? [ Post made via iPad ] http://forums.amahi.org/images/mobile/iPad.png

Simple Plex question
I am logging in by my VPN. I am using Virtuosity which is great, BTW. When I open Plex I get to the Plex login but not my server admin. If I enter my Plex details I get to the web interface, not the server. How do I get to my server and server admin? When I am at home it comes up immediately at http...

Who has the biggest Amahi system?
You can describe in terms of terabytes or number of computers in the network or how ever you would like? It is interesting for us aspiring for develop huge systems. It also tells us about Amahi's capacity. Thanks. I will start. I just setup mine up this month. I moved over from Windows Home Server v...

Re: (Solved) Weird error - Folders have disappeared
Rebooting the Mac worked.
All folders back, visible and usable.
Probably was the samba server.

Re: Weird error - Folders have disappeared
No, I changed from Workgroup to SolarSystem when I created the system.
This problem just happened a few hours ago.
Restarted smb and I can see them in Windows.
Still not on Mac yet but going to reboot the mac.

SOLVED: Weird error - Folders have disappeared
I have a weird error. HDA is up and working. All the Servers are working and there is plenty of space on the drives and partitions. I can see films from my Plex, etc. etc. Everything appears to be fine EXCEPT I know longer see HDA and folders on the network/other computers. For example, on my Mac th...

Re: Adding more storage capacity
Thanks.
Hadn't really thought of a large internal drive. That would be best I guess as a first stop, if possible.
Budget within reason is not an issue. I have 3 or 4 external usb drives so I would like to consolidate to save space, power, noise, etc.

Adding more storage capacity
Ok, it has been a few weeks and I am getting used to my system. Thank Goodness! Now I need to expand. I need more storage space. Question - Which should I go. One way, add more usb external drives OR start adding network drives? What are the guys running 20 tb systems doing? You must be running netw...

Re: Transmission - Easy question 2
Yes, I did edit it, but not the permission as I mentioned I did not have that unmask 18 line. However, I just rebooted and the change in directory did not stick as the default upload folder seems to still be the OLD dir. Weird, I save it. Closed it and then reopened it to see if the changes where th...
