I notice the MariaDB Server is in a permanent stopped state after Amahi 8 and app install.
All apps are configured and working O.K.
What is this server for? Can it be started via terminal?

My Torrent folder has read/write permission, but when Transmission creates a sub folder under Torrents to download a file, it is read only, and subsequently Transmission shows an error that it cannot save to the folder. Is there a setting in Transmission to make new folders it creates read/writeable?

Mark this one as solved....... It pays to do a search on this invaluable forum. df -h showed sda6 at 100% full. Further investigation showed Transmission to be at fault. I deleted the redundant files. systemctl restart http got things going again. The kids can stop nagging me now............. Thanks...

Both active and running. Warning on both: journal has been rotated since unit was started log output is incomplete or unavailable. Rails application failed to start properly error.
I can't get a connection to the had, or a desktop page in a browser.
Re-start hasn't helped.
I was installing Owncloud 8 desktop on a Linux machine and after it synced with the hda, the error occurred.
Any ideas?

Didn't help either.
I also re-installed all the dependency packages I could find for Transmission with no luck.
I will have to declare it D.O.A.
I'll use a desktop transmission for the moment, until Amahi 8 is released..............

Stock standard 7 install on headless F19.
I did a manual update and no files marked for an update.
I had been regularly updating until December/Jan when F19 reached end of life.

Not wanting to use up too much of your time, but would it be easier to uninstall and manually delete files to enable a full and fresh reinstall?

Outcome in text file. A few things are missing.
There have been no updates for a while now, 19 is no longer supported?
