Re: You have been logged on with a temporary profile
Turn off the client. There is a folder in /var/hda/domain-settings/profiles called "username".V2 - but it's empty.
Delete the folder.
Restart the client and log in.

Re: You have been logged on with a temporary profile
I've set my hda up as a domain controller and am trying to log on from a Windows 7 Ultimate machine. I can log on OK but always get the above message. Also Windows won't let me do anything requiring elevation as none of my passwords seem to work. I'm guessing I haven't set up the user account corre...

Re: Change yourhda.com Address?
No, sign. Submit a bug.
As you create new hda servers, the number goes up. If you delete a server, the number does not get reused. It would be nice if there was some control over the suffix addeded to youraccount as the hostname in the domain.

Re: change home domain
I will also have to work through some of this myself next week while home. /etc/dhcp dhcpd.conf change domain entries to new domain (3 entries) The dhcpd.conf is generated by hdactl from the database, you did not need to change this. in Mysql (use phpmyadmin): database hda_production , table setting...

Normally that address is your public-facing address on your router from your ISP.

It's all good. How was the conference? Comment resolution. Slowwwwwwwly we turnnnnn. Step by step. Paragraph by paragraph. Standards meetings alternate between lively technical presentations and mind numbing comment resolution.... We got quite slap happy during the PM1 session. One commenter wanted...

Re: PBX
I am looking at:
http://docs.redhat.com/docs/en-US/Red_H ... index.html
And it has php 5.3, so may have to wait for Centos 5.6...
I seem comments on the Centos list about Ruby upgrades not coming until Centos 6.0, do we need that level of Ruby?
