Re: Show Us your home server
That's a pretty nice setup. Is it noisy having two machines running at the same time? I have a PS3 that I use on one of my televisions for streaming my media and Netflix, and I find the PS3 fan too loud for enjoying a movie.

Whatever files were left I rm'd to get rid of (figure I had nothing to lose since the app didn't work), then I re-installed the a...

Re: Total Beginner
Milksnake, I was in the same position several years ago. At the time I was really looking into getting an HP Mediasmart with Windows Home server on it, but when Microsoft revealed that Windows Home Server 2011 would not have the Drive Extender functionality (data duplication across several disks), I...

SOLVED: Database Back Up App Failed to Install
I'm trying to install the DB Back up app, but it failed to install. Have a look at the log at http://ur1.ca/isar2 It looks like the request to download the archive file timed out, but when I try the same url in my browser, the file is immediately downloaded. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Tha...

Re: Transmission Web App not starting
Followed your instructions. Now I do have the service file, but it still won't start. [user@localhost init.d]$ systemctl status amahi-transmission.service amahi-transmission.service - SYSV: This is a daemon which runs on the server to download torrents Loaded: loaded (/etc/rc.d/init.d/amahi-transmis...

Re: Transmission Web App not starting
The .service file can not be found in either location, and yes I am running Amahi 7/Fedora 19. It worked the first time I installed it, then one day it stopped working. So I uninstalled/reinstalled and now I don't even see the service listed. How can I install the service manually? Edit: I do see th...
