Re: mail hda-update
I get the exact same thing. You announced VSFTP the other day and I wanted to install it. Neither hda-update-webapps or yum update seemed to bring it to my avalible apps list. So something seems wrong. Edit: Saw that VSFT only was Alpha :)... So that could explain why I can't see it. But still.. I g...

Re: Problems updating Transmission

Problems updating Transmission *solved*
According to the wiki page about Transmission it should be possible to upgrade. I tired the instructions given but there seems to be missing dependencies. [root@localhost /]# rpm -Uvh http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3022105/Amahi/transmission/transmission-2.04-1.fc12.x86_64.rpm http://dl.dropbox.com/u/30221...

Re: Unbootable system since broken disk in /etc/fstab
Hum. Just thought of something. I think there's an option in the fstab file that tells Linux to continue booting even if the mount fails. And I think it's nofail : http://www.eazynet.de/nofail_option_in_etc_fstab (didn't try myself - you can try by adding that option, then disconnecting a drive aft...

Re: Unbootable system since broken disk in /etc/fstab
This is not really how Greyhole or Amahi works, but how Linux in general works. Linux will just not boot if the drives in fstab are not working. Greyhole will not take care of mounting drives (because that would be re-inventing the wheel). You can mount the drives however you want. Just make sure y...

Unbootable system since broken disk in /etc/fstab
I have a setup of Disk1: 300GB for system Disk2: 1TB for storage pool Disk3: 2TB for storage pool Disk4: 2TB for storage pool The other day disk 3 decided to stop working. The end result was a system that would not boot since I had the enteries in /etc/fstab and it complained about the file system. ...

Transmission added to storage pool problems
I added /var/hda/files/torrents to my storage pool to be able to have my torrents using the storage pool and not filling up my sys drive. But I seem to have run into a bit of problems. If Transmission pauses a download greyhole will move the file out to the storage pool. It also sets the owner to ro...

CrashPlan questions
Hi... I just installed Amahi after about a year with a WHS and a few days with a WHS Vail. Dropped it due to the decision of dropping DE from WHS. I have set up a storage pool using greystone, moved over all my data etc. I'm ow at configuring crashplan. I have installed it and connected to the insta...
