Re: Another new feature in Amahi 7 - manage public key

BTW:
[administrator@localhost TMP]$ ssh-keygen -t ecdsa -b 521 -C "$(whoami)@$(hostname)-$(date -I)"
unknown key type ecdsa

Why is this not possible in F18?

Just tried a new install and shares are not being created by default. I went to the shares tab and opened each one, testing the new permissions feature. Nothing is there. I also noticed a shares directory, so checked there and it was empty as well. The permissions for /var/hda/files is root. Should...

Re: Amahi 7 status report and some plans

Okay, the installation runs without problems. Samba works. User creation works too, but the page doesn't refresh after user creation (so the new user doesn't appear in the list). One could think the user creation failed. Share creation/deletion works too. But one has to provide a path => Maybe its a...

Re: Amahi 7 status report and some plans

what about replacing mysql with mariadb? MariaDB is faster and lighter than mysql. https://mariadb.org/ Compatibility: Data and table definition files (.frm) files are binary compatible. All client APIs, protocols and structs are identical. All filenames, binaries, paths, ports, sockets, and etc... ...

Re: Amahi 7 status report and some plans

PROJECT IDEA: it would be great if you want to help to pick up the following tools and learn and document how to produce a custom iso image of Fedora 18. this would probably be done with the koji and mock tools.
Hmmm... Sound interesting! I will start learning how to mock build.

Re: Piwik install-script

I will take care of it. Sorry about that. In future, please file a bug.

1.) Login http://bugs.amahi.org
2.) choose project? http://bugs.amahi.org/projects
3.) ??
