BTW:
[administrator@localhost TMP]$ ssh-keygen -t ecdsa -b 521 -C "$(whoami)@$(hostname)-$(date -I)"
unknown key type ecdsa
Why is this not possible in F18?

Re: Another new feature in Amahi 7 - manage public key
Hello, we have updated the repos (both 32 and 64 bits) with bits that contain a couple of new advanced-user features: the ability for users to manage a public key automatically and admin==sudo. Great :) But I myself was not able to define more than one public keys. At Amahi Home Server > Users > Au...

Re: Amahi 7 status and DNS/DHCP server change plans
Just tried a new install and shares are not being created by default. I went to the shares tab and opened each one, testing the new permissions feature. Nothing is there. I also noticed a shares directory, so checked there and it was empty as well. The permissions for /var/hda/files is root. Should...

what about replacing mysql with mariadb? MariaDB is faster and lighter than mysql. https://mariadb.org/ Compatibility: Data and table definition files (.frm) files are binary compatible. All client APIs, protocols and structs are identical. All filenames, binaries, paths, ports, sockets, and etc... ...

Re: Amahi 7 status report and some plans
Hmmm... Sound interesting! I will start learning how to mock build.PROJECT IDEA: it would be great if you want to help to pick up the following tools and learn and document how to produce a custom iso image of Fedora 18. this would probably be done with the koji and mock tools.

Re: Canon MP860 print issues

I can happily print a pdf from the ubuntu desktop, but if I submit a pdf from a windows client a job seems to get submitted to the print queue bu...
