Re: New Installation
Thanks for the feedback. Each command finishes when you see the command prompt or are prompted to reboot. Amahi doesn’t have to replace your router. You can run it without changing any network settings. Only issue is you can’t use most apps and have to access the server by IP address. Other key poin...

Re: New Installation
Can you elaborate on what specifically deviated from the guidance?I followed the guidance as precisely as possible given what was on screen deviated from the guidance.
Also, understand if you want to try something else. We hope you will give Amahi another try.

Re: New Installation
You were using terminal when you installed Amahi.
Was that with a system that had a monitor?
Reinstall might be best since you have not gotten far. I would recommend you follow the guidance precisely for the best success.

Re: New Installation
Ok that helps.
Can you SSH into the server? Seems like a step might have been missed somewhere in the install process.

Re: New Installation
Did you follow the transitioning to Amahi guidance?
Also, which install method did you use? Your earlier screenshot showed you had access to the dashboard. Is that still not the case?

Re: New Installation
When the server starts up it is in command prompt. When inputting ifconfig, it returns with: "command not found." Caps were not on. I tried several times paying close attention to my typing. It was entered correctly. That command is not installed. You can use ip address . The IP Address w...

Re: Multi Ethernet Ports on Amahi Server
Hello,
I'm sorry but that likely will not work.
Amahi works with a single hard wired ethernet port only. Any additional would break Amahi if active.
See requirements for additional details.

Re: Reducing number of extra copies
Yea that is likely the issue.
Unfortunately you have to empty the trash manually with Greyhole. If you don't, your drive will fill up.
Let consider this resolved.

Please post a copy of your /etc/greyhole.conf file.
This will likely point to the issue.
