CLOSED: Amahi 11 partitions
I am a long time amahi user and just did a fresh install of amahi 11. I just want to mention that I believe the install instructions are missing a piece about disk partitions. The first time I tried installing amahi 11 without customizing the partitions caused some serious issues shortly after insta...

Re: Subsonic Encryption
Subsonic is accessible via the web from anywhere, which is why I love it and use it so much. Very easy to set up but I guess a possible security risk. I think I have Amahi 8 or 9, so I don't want to mess with something that is untested and not recommended, as stated in the secure access wiki page. T...

CLOSED: Subsonic Encryption
Hello, Lately, I have become more aware of security with my HDA. One thing that has jumped out at me is that my Subsonic app doesn't seem to be using any sort of encryption. I'm not sure if this is a security issue or not, but I found a Subsonic page that addresses using https: On Linux, add --https...

Re: SOLVED: Deluge Down After Power Failure
Some bad news related to this thread. After my restart of my server (which i did properly) in order to do the UPS, Deluge is no longer working. I get the same 503 error as before. Subsonic seems to be working normally. I restarted Deluge with no luck. This is what the service deluge status reads: Do...

Re: SOLVED: Deluge Down After Power Failure
Here's an interesting update on this. I got my new ~$40 UPS today. I had always had my server plugged into a surge protector, which in turn was plugged into an outlet in the closet where it is all located. I replaced the old surge protector with my new UPS and the UPS gives a warning that there is f...

Re: SOLVED: Deluge Down After Power Failure
This is a good point. I've lived over 5 years in one place, and have only had one power outage more than 5 minutes. So even having a UPS without the automatic shutdown capability would be better than nothing?

Re: SOLVED: Deluge Down After Power Failure
Ok, I think I'll punt for now. Past power failures haven't caused this problem, so hopefully future ones won't be a problem either. I have it on a surge protector, so that should help somewhat I hope.
Thanks

Re: SOLVED: Deluge Down After Power Failure
I found this interesting thread from earlier this year: https://forums.amahi.org/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=6406&p=36361&hilit=ups#p36361 Since I don't see a follow up to the other user's installation, I'm guessing that it went ok. If I got an APC UPS with the ability to automatically shut dow...

Re: Deluge Down After Power Failure
The hard drive is only a couple of months old so I really hope it's not that. I've reinstalled the apps and they seem to be functioning normally. I'll keep an eye out for any odd behavior. Is there an easy way to test for damage to the drive? Any recommendations for a UPS? I'd like to keep it simple...

Re: Deluge Down After Power Failure
Well that's a bummer. Not sure I knew that was even possible. Would you recommend reinstalling the apps? Do you think amahi itself is intact?
I've already tried on multiple browser and computers. Nothing different.
