Re: ERROR 1146 (42S02) at line 1: Table 'hda_production.settings' doesn't exist

That type of non-answer is tremendously frustrating, in case you were not aware. Yes, absolutely an erase and install would technically resolve the issue. I also understand that 'erase and install' is the easiest answer from a support perspective. I knew that before I asked the question. It would al...

Re: ERROR 1146 (42S02) at line 1: Table 'hda_production.settings' doesn't exist

I was using the Amahi 9 upgrade instructions, as detailed https://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Amahi_9_Upgrade. Since it mentions only being tested on a clean system with few mods I uninstalled all my apps first, and attempted to install preserving my drive layout and greyhole config. I'm mainly looking...

ERROR 1146 (42S02) at line 1: Table 'hda_production.settings' doesn't exist

I was trying to reinstall Amahi / Fedora on my system and I've run into the following error: [root@hda ~]# hda-install <mycode> Verbose log file at '/root/hda-install-161017-112046.log'. Retrieving install code ... Install code looks good Stopping background software updates ... Background software ...

Closed: Amahi 9 / F23

Is there any new functionality or capabilities of either Amahi 9 or Fedora 23 we should be testing or looking at? FYI - Only issue so far is a glitch on the unetbootin F23 install where the UDB key label will not match what is expected by the installer. Use the MBR vs EUFI boot and hit TAB on 'Insta...

Re: AMAHI UPGRADE STEPS

To clarify: Raid is only for OS and LZ. Rest of drives are non-Raid and Greyhole 'manages' them.

Re: AMAHI UPGRADE STEPS

I finally got moved and finished my upgrade. There were a few snags in the install that caused me some problems, but they turned out to be easy once I narrowed it down. 1st: Regardless of which f23 install you download and use unetbootin to create a bootable USB key with - all of them failed to inst...

Re: AMAHI UPGRADE STEPS

Awesome. I've managed to run the migration script to get the nicely formatted list of everything. Quick question though: I originally built this with a HW Raid5 of 4 SSD's for the base system. Gives me about 500GB of more or less wasted space. Then I followed the steps to move /var/hda/files to a 2....

CLOSED: AMAHI UPGRADE STEPS

This may be a dumb question - but is there any official guidance on how to deconstruct your AMAHI server in order to do upgrades? To clarify - the recommendation always seems to be to 'Install From Scratch' - which is fine, but I spent HOURS setting up and configuring disks, letting greyhole sync ba...

Re: DNS Alias Question

Oh - I don't want to change anything via cockpit - I just like the realtime view of storage system etc.

Helped me a ton while troubleshooting issue with greyhole to see exactly which drives were reading/writing etc

Re: Is it ok to move the mount point for drives

Time resolved it... although I ended up with a significant portion of the data gone by the time the fsck had run through everything. Not a big deal, as I just re-synced from the original source and then ran a balance to evenly spread across the storage pool.
