Re: NeoRouter Server Running on Amahi

Oops! You're right....here's the answers to your questions: 1 - No, it's Fedora 19. I was brain-dead at the time of my writing the Wiki. 2 - I downloaded the CentOS RPM. I think that is reflected in the example link (that's exactly the one I downloaded). 3 - I only put it there for demonstration. Al...

NeoRouter Server Running on Amahi

Hi, all. I just wanted to start this thread in case anyone else was interested. I installed NeoRouter Server on my v7 HDA and it's running like a champ. In case you're not familiar with NeoRouter (http://neorouter.com), it's a (from the website) "Ideal Remote Access & VPN Solution. Access a...

Backing up an Amahi server to a network attached Drobo

I currently have a Drobo FS attached to the same network as my Amahi 7 server. I've moved my media library from the Drobo to the Amahi to see how performance is. I'd like to have the ability to backup my Amahi to the Drobo since the Drobo has 4TB of storage. Has anyone tackled this or similar? I wou...

Re: SuperSync iTunes server - An alternative for MediaRover

Update: this is working very well. Here's my scenario: Macbook Pro (Yosemite) running iTunes v12. My iTunes library (>450GB) is housed on a Drobo FS. I wanted to move my iTunes library to my Amahi HDA. Using SuperSync and all has gone very well. Slow, but very well. Moving music and movies/videos to...

Re: SuperSync iTunes server - An alternative for MediaRover

Probably because I sent him an email about it. It's no biggie. I'll pretend I didn't see it. ;-)

Re: SuperSync iTunes server - An alternative for MediaRover

I noticed that you were on the email distribution as I was about the update to SuperSync. Darshin gave a link to the new install file. How do you recommend that I proceed to install? I can do it from the Dashboard as I still get the failed message when attempting to install.

Re: DDClient won't start

Yeah. Thanks, but I'm pretty familiar with OpenDNS and it's capabilities and how to set it up. My issue was just trying to get Amahi to be able to update my dynamic IP address with OpenDNS via ddclient. There are other clients that I could employ to do that but they run on either Winbloze or OS X. I...
