Yep its a weird problem. I have seen other instances reported on the internet with various different platforms so I suspect its a general networking problem. Unfortunately i have not yet found a solution. I will try restarting the DNS server next.

Sorry I double checked and I am only using amahi.net within my network and not Amahi.org my mistake.

The problem is with any domain lookup from a client not just google.
