Re: HELP, close but yet so far.
How old is your hardware? If you can boot USB, consider trying the Fedora 14 USB install as noted in the wiki. Although it is unsupported, many have had success with it. See http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Fedora_14_usb_install Also, can you tell us a bit more about your hardware and internet connec...

Re: VPN should work, but it doesn't
I was offering you advice and have no way of knowing your skill set. Please understand we are a very small team of volunteers who do our best with an overwhelming work load. Now, the log files are located in /var/log directory. Recommend you look at syslog and messages. The VPN info on amahi.org may...

Re: storage pie chart not working after upgrade to amahi6
Did you have Fedora 14 updated with all the latest Fedora patches? If not, then that could be the culprit.
DOing yum update might have caught that problem. Could you please file a bug on this issue and document your fix. Go to http://bugs.amahi.org

Re: amahi installer freezes when configuring eth0
Ok, well then that explains it. Sorry, we do not officially support USB installs. However, if you check out this wiki page, I believe the USB install method documented there will allow your install to proceed the same as a DVD install. http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Fedora_14_usb_install We do not ...

Re: DHCP help server won't start.
If possible, please come by the IRC for live troubleshooting help. Also, we may need to file a bug or tag on the existing one.
It easier to help resolve live than in the forums.

Recommend you check out the network troubleshooter and see if anything is wrong there.

Then if not, start looking at log files to for potential clues. I presume you have turned off your DHCP/DNS server features in your router.

Nothing says you cannot turn them off. Just realize there are trade offs, some functions of Amahi will not be available. Check out the FAQ on the web site.
