Never though to look there, but I was all over the OpenVPN wiki.
Thanks!

Re: Mounting Shares Locally
Just asking if Tom remembered to run it as root is all. I'm not trying to do anything in particular. Just tying to build up a good background of understand about Amahi in general. Locally mounting shares was confusing, but from your answer it seems greyhole changes the default mounting of shares whe...

Re: Mounting Shares Locally
Tom - Obvious question... did you do this as root? I'm pretty new to this and don't have a clear understanding to what mounting shares locally really means. I assumed that shares are by default mounted locally, but, if not, what is the alternative? Does this have more to do with Fedora/linux than Am...

Re: OpenVPN Authorisation Failed
Hey you beat me to it!! I got with my IT guy yesterday and we basically did the same thing. The only difference is that I was able to access my files directly from a Windows Explorer window. I typed "\\hda" into the window and when it popped the login request up I typed my home domain name...

Re: OpenVPN Authorisation Failed
It's as if I wrote this myself!! I am having he exact same issue. My company IT guy broke down and gave me admin access in order for my OpenVPN to connect. Thankfully he's also a Linux tinkerer and was empathetic. Now I am getting the exact same problem where it asks for a login and no matter what l...

CLOSED: Amahi App Feature Request
Hello, Not sure if this is the right place for this, so please point me in the right direction, if not. Would it be possible to add picture thumbnails to the Amahi mobile app? I want to keep things simple and use Amahi anywhere and not have to deal with the more advanced owncloud set up, but my only...

Re: Plex / Amahi anywhere / owncloud
Hi Nom, I know his thread is old, but I just got started out and have the same questions you did. I'd be interested in hearing what you ended up doing. I'm stuck trying to chose between Amahi Anywhere and OwnCloud. Honestly, my needs are simple. No thumbnails for pics is what is holding me back from...

Re: Question about moving shares folder to new HDD
Thanks Bigfoot. That's what I ended up doing, but I didn't actually move anything since I haven't started moving my files over to the HDA yet. I just created a new directory in the files drives/drive1 directory then went and updated the path in my shares from the dashboard. That's really all I have ...
