Re: mysql root password

weekendsrule33, One thing I notice in your syntax is that there is a space after the -u, but not after the -p. It's been my experience that they have to be the same or you will get that message. My guess is it should be mysql -u root -p hda. I have had this same issue in the past and that was my pro...

Re: Keepass

I need you to check a couple files for me. Look in /etc/httpd/conf.d and find the keepass.conf file (it will be preceded with a number). Please let me know if there is a redirect permanent statement and what it says. Also, what is the path for document root. Secondly, what version of Fedora are you ...

Re: Keepass

Hello, Has your issue with KeePass been resolved? I have read through the posts and am unsure what the problem would be. The KeePass application is installed in the server folder, so html folder will be empty. I am on the irc frequently, so you can stop by there or post here if you are still having ...

Re: OpenVPN ALS (Project Adito)

As promised, here is a link to download the administrator guide. Although this is for SSL-Explorer, much if it applies to Adito. http://files.getdropbox.com/u/1380867/SSL-Explorer_Administrators_Guide.zip Hope this helps those who are trying to figure it out. Also don't forget to check out the wiki ...

Re: OpenVPN ALS (Project Adito)

I don't believe the help files are part of the application at this point. This app is still being developed by the authors. I do have an administration manual that I can make available to you.

I will upload it to getdropbox.com and post a link in this forum later today. Hope that will help.

Re: Mail Aggregator 1.0

I have made updates to the full version of the mail aggregator. This is the version with getmail support to automatically retrieve your mail every 15 minutes. This is done via cron job and can be modified to do it more or less frequently. I will continue to revise the scripts as time permits. I hope...

Re: Mail Aggregator 1.0

There shouldn't be an issue with /etc/aliases as there is only one thing added. It ensures that postmaster points to root and root to your own username or your email address. This is done on initial install only. Any other aliases for email addresses or users is stored in the database. This step cou...

Re: Mail Aggregator 1.0

As a matter of fact, I am working on a version now that adds many of those features. It's based on a tutorial at howtoforge.net by falko titled 'Virtual Users And Domains With Postfix, Courier, MySQL And SquirrelMail (F10).' Most of the features will satisfy the list moredruid noted. This version is...

Re: Adito

Anyone who has had this problem with Adito, please post if this corrected it. I will add this to the dependencies if it definitely corrects the problem. As it stands, this appears to only be an issue with 64-bit systems, so 32-bit users should not have a problem.

Re: Mail Aggregator 1.0

Thanks for the tip moredruid. I have been working hard to get this to be as simple as possible and still work. I am posting the first revision of the lite version of mail aggregator. This does not include the automatic getmail support, but works well based on my tests so far. There are 4 scripts: in...
