Ok, thank you both for the explanation, but b.t.w. I read in the press release nowhere that this version 6.3 is for Ubuntu only.

How can I update to the latest Amahi version 6.3 ?
I have still the following configuration:
Systeem: 2.6.35.14-106.fc14.i686 , i386
Platform: 6.1.0-1
Core: 4.1.5-1

Fedora 14 full DVD
DHCP server off
DNS server on
Sitecom WL-350 router acts as DHCP server
Use dynamic DNS (DynDns.org)

I am having the same issue too. Is there no-one on this board who can give us a clue? I think it is DNS stuff, but where to find the answers?

At the end of all I re-installed my HDA and the disks are now visible again.

I have the same problem. I did:
service hddtemp start [OK]
but have still missing 'disks' indication in dashboard.
