Other than the Ubuntu installer wiping out all the data on my drives (all 5.25TB worth ) it went fine....

I'll probably end up installing this sometime this week since I would love to be able to run Ubuntu on my HDA.

First issue I've seen is the Ubuntu installer won't let you mount an existing partition as /var/hda/files (and /var/hda/files/drives/driveN where N is 1-whatever) without wiping it out. That could be a Ubuntu issue we just have to live with though.
