Re: Just installed my HDA and have an issue with Plex
pretty sure this is the same problem as other one posted earlier for squeezebox https://forums.amahi.org/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=4895 You need to add the plex user to users group so it can access the shares: sudo usermod -a -G users plex Should be fine now assuming your shares are set to public acc...

Re: Solved - Update Plex App
This also works for Fedora; you can download the latest RPM from the Plex site and update using:
sudo rpm -Uvh plexmediaserver-whateverversion-x86_64.rpm
This way if you have a "plexpass" you can update to the latest members only builds.

Re: SOLVED: Logitech Media Server & Greyhole Shares
Bit late, but I had this issue ages ago and discovered that if you want to access music in mounted shares (according to the documentation this is safer than accessing the direct file location for greyhole shares) you need to add squeezeboxserver to your users group. It's a permissions issue - the LM...

Re: Crashplan on fedora 19
took me a while to get around to this but I've added some instructions on the wiki. I wasn't sure about the default locations used for the app, and the service name might be different too (I use all lowercase names where possible!). Put my own ones in there but if the defaults are different it will ...

Using squeezebox server and unblock-us.com
I had some trouble with the unblock-us DNS service and the mysqueezebox.com servers - it wasn't resolving properly which broke the functionality of my squeezeboxes. Anyway just in case someone else has this problem I've edited the wiki with my workaround, which involved using a funky option in dnsma...

Crashplan on fedora 19
Hi guys, I just solved a problem with the crashplan desktop on Fedora 19 so I thought I'd share with others. I have installed Crashplan manually, and use the xfce desktop with tigervnc server to access my HDA. I dont know if the bug affects gnome or other desktops on F19. I was getting an error in s...
