Hello,
what is the best way to disable the HDA as acting as a DNS and DHCP server? My Untangle UTM already does all that, and I prefer to keep it that way.
Is it best to do it via terminal? GUI? Is there a spot I'm missing in the web interface?
Thanks!

Definitely Ubuntu Server. No GUI, no desktop apps of any kind, just lean OS.

Re: Amahi 5.3 Final Release
still churning new code into videos5 ... a number of people testing it! maybe a few weeks? big show stopper, we don't have a good logo for it! :) I'm really dying to get my hands on this one, looks really promising. I can't imagine how cool this will be to stream video over a web browser on my iPod...

Re: HDA like dropbox
This application has already made the list via the app suggestion channels. It is on the list to review to see if there is a way to make it work with Fedora. Stay tuned for more on this one. That would be me! Or I'm at least one of the people, anyway. I've used it while having it installed in SuSe,...

Re: different apps on Amahi server via web interface
Doh!! Nevermind; I was right. It was a DNS issue. I went into my firewall and set static DNS entries for each service, so: 172.16.0.10 = ajaxplorer 172.16.0.10 = osticket etc. so when I enter in http://ajaxplorer, it brings that up off of the Amahi server, and likewise when I enter in http://osticke...

different apps on Amahi server via web interface
I've got Amahi up and running well, and have installed Ajaxplorer, webmin, OSTicket, and OpenVPN. Question is, when I attempt to go to Ajaxplorer and OSTicket, it just goes to the regular HDA page. I know from past experience that webmin's on 10000, and OpenVPN's on 4443. But I don't know what the o...

Yeah, it appears to happen with any more "advanced" firewall that's got some sort of virus scanning utility at the gateway. Interesting, but I supposed it makes sense.

Re: HDA like dropbox
http://ifolder.com would be a good platform for this, as there's a client for OS X, Windows, and Linux, as well as web-based access. However it currently appears to be only available for SuSe. Though they're both rpm-based packages, it may not be that simple to get it translated, especially with iFo...

Re: Getting hda-release-1.0-1.noarch.rpm error during install
Well, here's an interesting one. It worked. With the same image, same server (ESXi hypervisor). Solution? Turn off virus scanning at the firewall. I run an Untangle firewall on my home network, one of which features is a virus scanning utility. I had issues with it preventing YouTube from working on...

Re: Getting hda-release-1.0-1.noarch.rpm error during install
Hello, Have you done Fedora 12 updates? If not, you should do them prior to installing Amahi. Also, did you use the web-based installer? You mentioned following the tutorial. Is this the one at http://www.amahi.org after you build your profile? Please follow that one and not the wiki and your insta...
