Re: Migrating Amahi 6 (Fedora 14) to Amahi 8
Yes, I've triple checked that all the settings are the same, greyhole.conf etc. Can you help me understand exactly what this WARNING! No copies of this file are available in the Greyhole storage pool. message means, so I can trouble shoot further? Is it that a metadata file exists in the landing zon...

Migrating Amahi 6 (Fedora 14) to Amahi 8
I've just migrated from Amahi 6 (Fedora 14) to Amahi 8. I followed the guide in: https://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Reconnect_existing_Greyhole_storage_pool for the Greyhole setup, mounting the old data drives to the same mount points as before, then using Greyhole UI to set up the shares and storage ...

Re: Migration
I'm in a similar situation, old Fedora 14 distro, now I want to upgrade using the same hardware. The link That or this one should work. https://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Migrate_Amahi_Data Says: If you are looking to upgrade your existing installation you should probably look elsewhere. So I'm not su...

Streaming to Chromecast
I'm sure someone here has found some smart way to stream movies from Amahi to a Chromecast?
Maybe using Plex?
Thanks,

Re: Ajaxplorer - files displayed as directories
I tried Ajaxplorer because I wanted to be able to access my files from anywhere, when I'm out traveling, for example.
Also, the Ajaxplorer Android App works quite nicely so I get access to my files from my phone.

Re: Ajaxplorer - files displayed as directories
I've checked the permissions, they look ok. I do run the mount shares locally with greyhole, and I point the ajaxplorer repositories to the /mnt/samba/Pictures folder for example. On further investigation it seems it could be a file-size thing. My .NEF files from my old camera are about 8Mb and disp...

Ajaxplorer - files displayed as directories
I've just installed ajaxplorer, but I have a problem. Viewing and dowloading mp3s and jpgs work just fine, but when I try to access other file types it doesn't work. For example, movies in the .mkv format and my Nikon RAW pictures in .NEF format are shown as directories instead of files, and cannot ...

Re: Syntax for frozen directories
*bump*
Anyone using frozen directories?
I haven't found any documentation for it.

Syntax for frozen directories
I have a problem finding the correct syntax to use frozen directories. I looked on the wiki but it only says how to use sticky files. Do I put it in the greyhole.yml file under "other:" or not? I tried other: frozen_directory = Backup/crashplancache but that gave me errors when I ran echo ...
