Re: Ubuntu server/amahi Sata raid
Did you add all your drives to the storage pool? Also did you set the per share number of copies? Greyhole will only do what you tell it to in regards to number of copies. If you don't specify max, it will copy to the one with the most free space typically. I added sdb1 (700gb) and sdc1 (500gb) (th...

Re: Ubuntu server/amahi Sata raid
Things are still not 100% (i think). I am copying "stuff" to my share but the files all land on (ide) sda1, not the (sata) sdb1 or sdc1. Tried this command: curl -s http://www.greyhole.net/support/system_info.sh | sh the output is here: http://sprunge.us/eiTe Can you see the problem? (or w...

Re: Ubuntu server/amahi Sata raid
You need to check the /etc/fstab and if those drives are there, comment them out and reboot. Must follow the wiki guidance to add drives to Amahi. Sorry, that is the only option. fstab has only an uuid (no sda/sdb or sdc remark) an ext4 and a swap. I presume this is all on the ide hd (sda) ? (perha...

Re: Ubuntu server/amahi Sata raid
Follow the wiki guidance: http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Adding_a_second_hard_drive_to_your_HDA These drives should not have been connected when you installed the OS and Amahi. If they were, might be hard to follow this guidance. I presume you used the install guidance at http://docs.amahi.org . I...

Hello, I installed amahi (ubuntu desktop) now twice in a row on my Compaq D31 M and in the end (the whole installation goes ok) i get the same result: "No active connection" (when i ask for connection information on the amahi-box) My Amahi box is behind a (upc) router/firewall which acts a...
