Gave up on this, opened amahitunes a few weeks later and everything is working now.
Perhaps there was an update?

Things were getting a bit silly in my house, I had a bench full of Linux boxes, acting a fire walls, media servers , etc The power costs were getting out of hand. I consolidated everything into into one box protected by an APC Backups 500.

I cant get this to work... I have a DCHP client (ubuntuvm) which negotiated a lease with AMAHI's DHCP server sucessfully but the hostname is not getting registered in Ubuntu's DNS server. HI, I've been running Amahi for about 24 hours now so this might be a stupid question but.... How do I access the PBA? I don't see it listed under installed (or uninstalled) applications. http://pba does not resolve. I'm running on Fedora 12 x64. Is there a problem I'm not aware of? Thanks, Enjoying...
