Re: keeps crashing during install
Would you mind adding this to the wiki for Express CD troubleshooting? We would greatly appreciate it. https://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Express_CD_troubleshooting Done. I will add a bit more detail when I'm back in the office, such as the model of Gigabyte mobo. The BIOS software has some paranoia ...

Re: keeps crashing during install
I've also recently encountered this issue with the Express disc. I'd be interested to know if anyone has managed to find the reason for the error. I'm going to try a new download and burn of the express version and if that doesn't work will try the full install. Are the instructions for that up to d...

Re: Freezing on boot sequence
Thanks for the reply. I did just that and dug through the rc.d folders and deleted all the symbolic links to the dodgy script and the machine booted OK after that. CP v2 seems to be working OK at the moment and it launches OK as a web-app just need to manually start it. On a wider note, I've noticed...

Freezing on boot sequence
Guys, hoping someone can help me out. I have probably overstretched my linux ability with this one and the current situation is the following; I'm a fan of Couchpotato and wanted to try the new version as Amahi currently only provides the earlier version, so I uninstalled it and set up the new versi...

Re: CrashPlanDesktop not launching
Thanks guys for the help. There wasn't a .crashplan file but I think a reboot did the trick. I followed some instructions to properly delete Crashplan and when I got the GUI to work again, I managed to adopt the existing settings from the previous install which was handy, so I haven't lost my sync p...

CrashPlanDesktop not launching
I seem to be a bit high maintenance this month so sorry for posting inane problems. I used to use Crashplan as a manual install but due to some problems, decided to uninstall it and go with the Amahi version (helping the developers and all that!). I think I have uninstalled the old version OK. I am ...

Re: Small spot of bother with Sabnzbdplus
OK, reboot has fixed the DNS problem with SAB. Thanks for the help
Unsure if it was the install of another app or the clearing DNS cache that sorted it though.

Re: Small spot of bother with Sabnzbdplus
No joy on either of those suggestions I'm afraid. The server isn't even available by using the ip:port address either. I can get it on either localhost:25915 or 127.0.0.1:25915 on the server itself

Re: Small spot of bother with Sabnzbdplus
Thanks for the reply. Didn't think to look in there for an ini file. I've tried that and still no luck. It's strange that I can't access it as the other servers I have (Transmission, couch potato, subsonic etc.) are all available with their DNS entries. It's a moot point anyway as BT have now blocke...
