Re: Connected, but can't access HDA
I get a time out when I try to ping the internal address, which is 192.168.1.10. I will check the logs and see if I can find anything. Everything seems to be connecting fine, but it still isn't working.

Connected, but can't access HDA
I have successfully connected to my HDA using HDACONNECT3 on my windows machine. The network i am on is different from my HDA's network so that shouldn't be the problem. When I ping my hda, i get a time out. Below is the log from hdaconnect saying it connected successfully. Anyone have any suggestio...

need help setting up a website
I need some help setting up my website. I have purchased a domain at godaddy. I have set up a webapp like the "Hosting a web page" wiki says. I have put my .html in the root of my webapp. My question is should I forward my domain to my hda? I am completely confused as to how I get my domai...

Re: Accessing app pages without DNS working???
I guess I shouldn't say dns isn't working, but rather I don't have the HDA as my DHCP or DNS server, so all my computers see it, but aren't getting their ip from it or using it as the dns server. I am fine with it that way, but I was just wanting to see if there is a port for every app that I can ad...

Accessing app pages without DNS working???
I finally got my HDA to show up on all computers on my network, so I don't want to mess with any more settings. The only thing that isn't working is DNS. So is there a way to connect to apps, like phpMyBackup, without having dns working, similar to how I can access webmin through 192.168.1.10:10000?...

Re: Amahi crashed after Fedora udpate :(
The same thing happened to me today after doing the Fedora updates through webmin. Installing the gem worked for me also. But there was one update that didn't work, and that was the newer version of HDA. It says there is a newer version, but halfway through the install, it fails. Anyone else have th...

Re: Sharing to Mac problems
It is a new iMac with Snow Leopard. I put it to sleep because the manual says only shut down if you won't be using it for a couple of days. What doesn't make sense is that it shows up in Finder most of the time, but when you click on it, it just keeps saying "connecting" and won't do anyth...

Re: Sharing to Mac problems
This happens whenever the Mac is woke up. It is very unpredictable. I usually have to try disabling, enabling, and messing with other network settings to get it to connect. The weird thing is that most of the time "hda" shows up under my shared devices in Finder, but when I click on it , i...

Sharing to Mac problems
I am having problems getting my mac to see my hda. Sometimes it will show up in Finder and other times it won't. DNS is working, I have the HDA giving my Mac a static IP address. Everything seems to be working great, except my mac finding the HDA. Whenever it does work, if my Mac goes to sleep and I...

Re: DD-WRT Client bridge and Amahi
The bridge is wireless, meaning there is no cable connecting the 2 routers, but it isn't a "Wireless Bridge" which has the second router broadcasting a wireless signal. Do you think if I connected my HDA to the main router that I would still be able to us uShare to my xbox if it is connect...
