Re: copy files nightly from one drive to another
Would prefer to have the had do the backup or file copying directly from the one drive to the other. Tried using FWbackup, but it came back with errors indicating my directory permission errors. Is there some r sync code that could be used in terminal to make the files copy daily at midnight the fir...

copy files nightly from one drive to another
Have used Amahi for a few years, but recently installed Amahi 8 on Fedora 21 distribution. Installed Amahi 8 onto a 160GB drive and added two 4TB drives. One called daily drive (/sdb) and the other backup drive (/sdc). Am in the process of moving the landing zone for the shares from the 160GB drive ...

Re: Last call for logo! Please voice your opinion!
Stacks looks and fits the concept of Amahi the best in my new to Amahi opinion. The link with the various stack logo color samples looks great too. The other logos, dice, etc do not seem to capture the concept of Amahi, and look a bit too much like ubuntu, windows colors, etc.

Re: Last call for logo! Please voice your opinion!
I am all for the stacked logo/icon. It does look like a harddrive logo, it has stacked drives with electrons swirling around them... which is right in line with what Amahi is... a home data assistant... file server, media server, etc. My Amahi box has multiple hard drives in it, and I would imagine ...

Re: updating applications after install via amahi control pa
Well, I've been messing around with the Amahi server and finally got the apps-proxy feature to work. Now my family members can get to the various web apps. When configuring the family connections application, it indicated an update is available to move it to version 2.1.3. How do I go about updating...

How to install FusionPBX?
Good morning,
Noticed that Amahi was updated to version 5.5 with new themes and other features. Cannot seem to find how to install or use the fusionpbx/voip feature that was mentioned in the 5.5 release notice.
Any suggestions?

Amahi on old style black Xbox?
Good morning,
I have an old Xbox sitting around now that I bought a xbox 360 a while ago. I've heard/read of people that have modded their xbox with linux or other OS to run as a media server on their network. Has anyone put Amahi on an Xbox? It should be possible right? Just wondering how...

updating applications after install via amahi control panel
Good evening, i've installed a few apps using the hda control panel. The apps seem to be working fine, but some of them indicate that updates are available. Being new to the Fedora and Amahi, how do I go about updating some of these apps? Will updating cause problems to the personal data files, phot...
