So, how did it go? Any problems?Well that's easy, I'm not sure where I got the idea in my head that I had to reconfig Amahi.
Thanks guys!

Re: Moving the Server
In my opinion, Amahi is independent of router/location, unless you have a static IP (I guess that's not the case). Just disable the DHCP server of your new router and plug Amahi in. It should broadcast your IP and you will be good to go. I apologize in advance if this is not correct info, since I ha...

Any silent (i.e. fanless), HD-capable mini-PC for Amahi?
Folks, I guess we need a new forum category "hardware", since I believe Amahi is best enjoyed on miniPC-like devices, whereas only a few devices are tested extensively for compatibility so far. I am very impressed by the Marvell plug implementation, tempted to buy one, but unfortunately I ...

Looks like repairing the partition and remounting worked. If you have the same problem then fsck.hfsplus is your friend

Is disk spooling (Greyhole) still beta?
Hi Everyone,
Current version of Amahi on my server is 5.3-1. However, I can't seem to locate any of the announced features, including disk spooling. Is it still in beta phase? What do I need to do to enable it? Thanks!

How to enable write permissions HFS+ for timemachine?
Hi everyone, In the storage spooling demo video I saw that there is a share for timemachine, which encouraged me to ask... Doesn't it require Fedora HFS+ write support? If so, how do we enable it? Currently, I am using the timemachine by seeding the ext3 partition with a small sparse bundle file (cr...

Why not make the bridged openVPN default?
Hi Everyone, After the latest update, I saw that my settings that allow the bridged openVPN are overwritten. I had to repeat the process described here: ( http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/VPNBridge ). I was wondering, is there a specific reason why bridged mode is not the default? IMHO most users wou...
