I guess there is no answer to this question. Over this weekend I changed my system to Ubuntu. I found the information how to install and configure it the way I wanted. So far I have given up on Amahi.

I had the same problem with the redirection to olympus. The application manager did fix the problem in the download and installation of Gallery2. Just follow his instructions to uninstall, reboot and reinstall Gallery2. Then it works.
