Re: Maps
It's really just a proof of concept and was a testing app for me to find my feet. I agree, some other interactive feature would be nice and I'll consider polishing it up too.

Mapping server app to test
Hi all, I just think I've got the basic package and install of another mapping/geospatial app wrapped up and would appreciate testers. The application is GeoServer. It's not really a "user" focused app - it's used around the world for creating web services for sharing geographic data. I ha...

Re: MediaWiki doesn't install..
The key for me was blowing away the /tmp/amahi cache folder. Man, bigfoot, wish I had read that line more carefully :P Perhaps a failed initial install threw a wrench into the whole works? Re: Wordpress not showing all the pictures or themes
I'm guessing that certain paths are hardcoded in the config files - e.g. where to find theme and image files. If you view the source text for your page (externally) you'll probably see which ones are hardcoded. Not sure there are ways around this since, in essence, you are trying to run the same app...

Re: Fedora 14 alpha - seeking testers!
I'd swear I checked for one of those RPMs already and it was fine. Hmm.
But I'm on now too - thanks!
Let me know if you want me to test/re-run from scratch - don't mind doing it. But if not, I'll carry on using it

Re: Fedora 14 alpha - seeking testers!
When launching http://hda I get ruby error. Application Error Rails application failed to start properly I ran: rpm -q rubygem-passenger with result: rubygem-passenger-3.0.0-8.fc14.i686 I'm in the same boat as volkswagoner.. though I never had any deps issues. Re: Fedora 14 alpha - seeking testers!
Okay, I'll try the upgrade too I'll see how well it handles an FC8 -> FC14 upgrade!
Just kidding
I'm wiping this old mac mini clean to test it out first. About time hehe.

Small Biz
Just pasting this wiki link here to keep the possibility of meeting some of the small office/small business users app needs in mind. It's an area I'm particularly interested in and I'm sure others are very tempted (or already are) using Amahi in their office or org. :) http://wiki.amahi.org/index.ph...
