Hi (Bigfoot)
I have been postponing the upgrade to Amahi 7 until all my apps would be LIVE in .. Can I install Squeezeserver (paid) app in BETA once I upgrade to Amahi 7? I really want to keep on using my S'boxes and Boombox.
thanks

Missing files after folder rename [SOLVED]
Hi, I was busy organizing my films and I was renaming a number of directories. Now, I find my folders empty in those I renamed. That is until I discovered my old folders still live on on the disks... The /var/hda/files/drives/drive[1,2,3]/gh/[ShareName]/[Old FolderName]/ still exists, and has my old...

Thanks lrevxl, for being so clear and taking the time. It makes perfect sense.

Separate BIG LZ partition in or out of pool?
Hi, First of all, thanks for creating greyhole. Excellent stuff, thanks for the time and efforts! It is much appreciated. We really can't say that often enough. :D I just did a complete fresh install of 6.1 on a 500 GB disk and have separate root, swap, and /var/hda/files (LZ) partitions. The latter...

Re: Squeezebox Server Reinstall Problem
Hi all, Just to report that my Amahi server root disk died this week so I decided to take the plunge, up and running in AMAHI 6.1 with clean install. Like Jaybea reported, the squeezeserver problem is still there (DVD ISO from USB stick) and followed the wiki to resolve the issue. Thanks for your wo...

Re: Squeezebox Server Reinstall Problem
Yes, what is live and what is beta for AMAHI 5 and 6 is indicated, but my point is, that if an app is in beta for 6, it cannot be installed anymore under 5 even if it was live for 5. The status seems to be 'Beta - full stop', so only the people participating in the beta testing program are allowed t...

Re: Squeezebox Server Reinstall Problem
This could have been made more clear in the announcement for Amahi 6: You can't install any apps that are in beta for Amahi 6, even if you're still on 5! Or am I mistaken? I would really like to install Squeezeserver, even 7.5.2. Please? :? Sorry for repeating myself, but is there any way to separa...

Re: Squeezebox Server Reinstall Problem
Errrr, Bigfoot, I have a similar problem. I'm still in Amahi 5 because I need apps like Squeezeserver that are still in Beta in 6. But I stupidly decided to upgrade my squeezeserver 7.5.2 to 7.5.3. Having seen the 'live', non-Beta, status of 7.5.3 in the apps list for Fedora 12/Amahi 5, I assumed I ...

Re: DHCP server configuration after install
That's great! It could then easily be implemented in the Dashboard? For less CLI-savvy folks? I actually read your earlier post on changing the gateway IP. I didn't understand that this also adjusted the subnet. I take it that the default subnetmask is used (255.255.255.0)? Preferably the gateway, s...

DHCP server configuration after install
I have been using AMAHI for over a year and I am very satisfied with it as it is. Many thanks for all your efforts. However, recently I decided to upgrade to a new router for n-wifi. I wanted to put the HOME network in a new subnet because I can't get rid of the modem/router from my provider, which ...
