Re: Amahi 8 Plex Not Fetching Poster Art or Meta Data (FIXED)
OK, I found a solution. In the Server:Agents settings 'Local Media Assets' must be turned OFF for all agents. Despite which order the agents are placed, if local assets is on it won't pull any metadata from online, contrary to how it's supposed to behave. This may cause an issue if I want to use som...

SOLVED: Amahi 8 Plex Not Fetching Poster Art or Meta Data
I installed Plex on my Amahi 8/Fedora 21 system about a week ago. Greyhole is managing the Movie and TV directories and I have local share mounts setup at /mnt/samba/*. Plex setup went smoothly and it's serving files like a champ. However, it's not automatically pulling poster artwork or meta data f...

Re: Greyhole messed up (again) need help
So, the problem persists. Once every day or two Greyhole hangs while attempting to fsck a file that does not exist. Dec 19 08:28:09 7 fsck_file: Now working on task ID 1276153: fsck_file Music/Alanis Morissette/jagged little pill/inf-raven720p.mkv Dec 19 08:28:09 7 fsck_file: Loading tombstones for ...

Re: Greyhole messed up (again) need help
OK, Greyhole seems to have finished fsck-ing after around 24 hours of work, much of which seemed to be replicated effort on the files and directories. It ran into the same (I have to assume) corrupt tombstone path, which caused the initial problem, about four times, which crashed greyhole. I used th...

Re: Greyhole messed up (again) need help
Holy crap, I think I fixed it. After digging around posts with similar problems and taking a shot in the dark, I issued this command to try and clear out the offending queued task: sqlite3 /var/cache/greyhole.sqlite 'delete from tasks where ID = 920813' And then tried to restart the greyhole service...

Greyhole messed up (again) need help
So, today I noticed that a few dozen files went missing since last night in my movies folder. I dug around the /gh/ directories and, thankfully found the files. What seems to have happened is that I changed a few folder names on the Movies share (it was the share and not the actual directory on the ...

Re: Greyhole Mess, Need Help Sorting It Out
OK, I won't worry about the /var/hda/files pooled directory. But what about my recovered files? The recovered files have differences from those on the original volume; the recovery process reverted some recently renamed/moved/deleted files to an older state. Also, some files were lost. Will Greyhole...

Greyhole Mess, Need Help Sorting It Out
So, two issues with partial fixes in place and I need help finishing it off. A Bit Info About My System I have 4 hard drives in my box: • Drive 1 contains the OS and the usual OS partitions, in addition to a 200 GB partition called /scratch used as a landing zone for new downloads and disc rips. (It...

Re: Using a VPN service with my HDA
I'm afraid you've misunderstood me. I do not want to connect to the server from another device. I want the server to connect, via it's own client, to a third party VPN service.

Using a VPN service with my HDA
I want to use a VPN service like Tunnelr with HDA box, but can't get it configured because of the way Amahi manages network connections. Tunnelr has a convenient download of all the config files so you only need to open them in the Network Connections control panel. However , in order for that to wo...
