Ok, just moved the xbox into another room. Need to wire up that room sooner than planned

Do I need to be connected to xbox live to get this to work? I read somewhere that the xbox downloads the codecs each time, so you need to be online? Is that right?

Hello, I have only recently installed Amahi, and added the ushare application. I have copied two divx/avi files to the ushare directory. When I connect to the ushare directory from my xbox360, it doesnt show the video files. It shows no files. I see no errors in the amahi log. Any suggestions? I hav...
